The Saint Lucia Precision Elite™ is designed as a premium competition shooting shirt that combines a professional appearance with lightweight performance and all-day comfort. The Saint Lucia blue, black, white, and yellow color scheme gives it a distinctive national identity, while the streamlined structure keeps it looking like serious technical sportswear rather than an ordinary printed shirt.
Material & Fabric
For production, I would recommend a premium polyester-spandex performance blend, approximately 90–95% polyester with 5–10% spandex. This gives the shirt enough stretch to move naturally with the shooter while maintaining its shape.
A fabric weight of approximately 180–200 GSM would be ideal. This is substantial enough to give the jersey a quality feel without making it heavy or overly warm.
The material should feature:
Moisture-wicking technology to pull perspiration away from the skin.
Quick-dry construction for outdoor ranges and long competition days.
Four-way stretch through the shoulders, arms, and torso.
Breathable micro-mesh or interlock performance fabric for improved airflow.
Smooth sublimation-ready surface so the Saint Lucia colors and detailed graphics remain sharp and permanent.
UV-resistant performance fabric where available for outdoor use.
Because the artwork would be sublimated directly into the fibers, there would be no heavy vinyl or thick printed layers sitting on the shirt. The graphics would remain lightweight, flexible, and comfortable.
Structure
The shirt has an athletic tapered structure. It should sit relatively close to the body without being excessively tight.
The shoulders can use a raglan-style construction, allowing the sleeve to extend naturally toward the neckline. This reduces restrictive seams around the shoulder joint and gives the shooter better freedom of movement when raising or positioning the arms.
The long sleeves should have a slightly fitted profile to prevent excess fabric from interfering with movement or equipment.
The body can be constructed with contoured side panels, creating a cleaner competition fit while providing additional stretch around the waist and torso.
Turtleneck Collar
One of the defining features is the high performance turtleneck collar.
Rather than a heavy traditional turtleneck, I would make this a soft, lightweight stretch collar approximately 2.5–3.5 inches high. It gives the jersey its distinctive appearance while remaining comfortable around the neck.
The collar could use a softer stretch fabric or brushed inner finish to prevent irritation. It should be firm enough to stand properly but flexible enough that the wearer does not feel restricted.
